Pedestrian Footbridge @ Salisbury

We have recently installed a new pedestrian walkway in the heart of Salisbury. Our work included the demolition and removal of the unsafe public walkway that currently exsisted and to fabricate and install the new walkway across the river Avon. It was a complex job due to location and working over water but with a fully comprehensive set of RAMS and several site visit a safe working plan was put together to complete the job. We fabricated, galvanised and powder coated the bridge material to a marine-grade specification and used a crane to lift the new bridge into its position. The flooring was composite HD planking which met the public specification and is highly resistant to corrosion from the elements.
